My third idea is to recreate a music video for Alicia Keys song No One.

My second music video choice is a song by Bruno Mars called Grenade, it is still an RnB however it is a mix of both pop and RnB (according to wikipedia). This song is similar to my first idea in terms of the lyrics talking about relationships. However, the beat and tempo is totally different to Rihanna's Unfaithful; there is more emphasis on the drum beat making it easier to edit accordingly. 


Grenade is originally performed by a male, however I have found a female cover and I think that it would be perfect to create a video for it.

Within the music video Hannah will have to change outfits numerous times to follow the conventions of a pop/RnB video.
Outfit no.1 =  a white lace long sleeved top with leggings and a large white head band which will be worn on the side of Hannahs Head
Outfit no.2 = Casual wear (beach scene) oversized black knitted jumper with black skinny jeans
Outfit no.3 = Black V neck top with a high waisted skirt plus stockings - red lipstick
Outfit no.4 = A black dress with a sequin detail

Idea # 1

My chosen genre is RnB and I plan to recreate a female artist's song. For my first idea, I have chosen the song Unfaithful by Rihanna because I feel that lyrics convey modern heterosexual issues; in this case the lyrics convey the issue of cheating and lying within a relationship. From my close consideration of the lyrics, i believe that I can create a video that adheres all the conventions I have studied.  

The ideal target audience

As an example, I have created a profile as to what the ideal consumer for my music video/genre/song would be. As you can see, she is female and aged around 18. Typical hobbies include boys, dancing, singing, socializing and so on. 


She is very current in terms of fashion and is easily influenced by celebrities and what brands and styles they are wearing. Media products such as a music video help her identify with her own fashion and inspire her to be creative and influence her style; this is why it is important I make sure there are close ups of the artist in my video and there are numerous outfits. Not only is the artist selling the music, they are selling a lifestyle and image to their audiences. 


I have used a picture above to show you visually what I think my target audience would dress/look like. The girls shown above are from the TV series Gossip Girl.
